the taste of freedom for the next 9 MONTHS. HOLY COW!HEE HEE! Thursday was the last day of exams 4 me. Morning paper so whoo hoo! this exams has been a very tough one. Exam dates are pretty packed and I have 6 papers, not to mention 8 modules. Hence, I had very very little time to prepare for my examinable papers (with mad 26 AUs this sem +++ 4 projects and weekly lab reports to do, not to mention graded assignments zzz) It's totally retarded cauz i hafta do 3 presentations for Engineers & Society, a group essay + its examinable, 100% ESSAY format. I tell you, there was no point studying for the pang sai paper, cauz its mainly general knowledge, his notes ain't super updated, the lecturer doesn't spoon feed and he's ubber BORING. BRRRR, and i kinda feel v upset bout most of the papers and almost sunk into depression during the exam period. but i knew i hadta be strong. i knew i hadta stand up on my own feet and bring myself out from that black hole.
thanks to these ppl who haf helped me academically this sem. it was a nice pizza treat from jeremy to appreciate us. Awww, so sweet <3. Eve is always so patient with us. Meech is like my pillar of support this sem, i stayed in her room for 1 week during the exams and gotta experience the "goodness" of hall 16, air-con hall. it breeds laziness seriously..
I am happy!!! December HELLOOOO. I trust God will make my next 9 months fabulous. I'm going for Industrial Attachment, so no school for 1 semester!!! YAY! I pray for a good employer and great work experience.
Though this sem has been a mad roller-coaster ride for me, so much shit and overwhelming problems arising, its finally over, all the workload whatever. I'm relieved. I really thank those whom have been there for me to give me strength knowing that I can be rather weak at times.. but it will only make me stronger. and every mountain scaled is lika learning journey for me. I thank God and all of you for tiding me through my yr 3 sem 1 ((: <3 <3 <3
and the taste of freedom starts with our usual post exam KARAOKE with the
CN Yang peeps :D:D:D It was in Chinatown. So I guess ur would think, EEW Chinatown, old n whatever. Haha, but the place was good. in fact, i felt it was better than K-box. Of cauz K-Box is newer. But the selection of songs is wider (more updated english songs for the Mandarin CMI like me, TOUCH SCREEN selection/remote control and its CHEAP. 10 bucks per person for 5 hours with free flow drinks (their honey water is damn good!), one free bowl of "shark's fin" soup and some seaweed snack thingy. We almost wrecked the place with the our mad jumping on the sofa. our brains must haf been
over-fried. ZZZ. meech was on drugs.
it was nice to walk down the streets of chinatown, too bad i didn't walk pass my road.
We drank
KOI bubble tea. every sip came with a mouthful of pearls, i almost died of pearl overdosed!!its the BEST bubble tea i've drank, freshly brewed tea and we can choose the different sugar levels we want (0%, 25%, 75% or 100%) FABBB TTM.
With me being in NTU and her being in NUS. We hardly meet. And every time we meet, its as eggciting as eva. Post-exam DAY OUT WITH BESTIE AH BU LA-LANG.
I bought two pairs of shoes, a superhero (wonder woman) underwear from topshop (hehe)and a dark blue toga dress (yes, my fetish for TOGAs).
But i preferred the turquoise dress from New Look. i am wearing the size 6 dress as seen above, but cldn't zip all the way up to my armpit, despite sucking it in and ade's help, LOL! they only had size 6 and 12 & above left. well, of cauz i'm not Victoria Beckham so I couldn't fit into size 6 (if only my frame was smaller, means i gotta be shorter, unless i'm too fat!). size 12 would be way too big. size 8/10 would fit just nice. i was so stumped )): i wan my turquoise toga dress!!
i was very happy to have dinner with her parents and big sis as i missed em so much :D I will have more time to meet em in 2010 ((:
headed to clarke quay to meet up with my cafe colleagues after dinnner. We visited our ex-manager who is now working as GM at a Latin club. so as GM, he "hadta" treat us to a round of drinks, lol. its called AZZUCAR! fabulous latin music sang by a band from Cuba. they have curly frizzy hair like me ((:
today, bestie ade is celebrating her 21st. food is buffet style and free flow beer --> beer belly alert!! i prepared a surprise for her. It took me the whole of yesterday to complete. My 1st attempt at making it. haha, will update soon. gtg help out earlier. I gotta sleep earlier every night also, i dun wanna age prematurely )): eye bags, be gone! i'm gone!
