crossroads of life.damn.i'm still freaking confused. NTU or NUS? both, chemical & biomolecualr engin. NUS chem engin is more established & well known, NUS is so freaking near to my house. NTU, theres a chance of me getting a scholarship, but e chem engin course is only 4 years old, not really established n NTU's so freaking far from my house. And EVERYONE is telling me to accept NUS cauz it's well, better. is prestige so impt? no one can deny that the reputation of the uni will affect their decision. how? I don't think He will short change me, whatever my decision is. Trust is all I need.
The weekend and the past few days have been
great! last friday, took leave and met janet ard 10-ish to do some shopping. got two pairs of shoes from pazzion. then i headed down to NUS for the chemical engineering welcome session. boring and useless i would say. the speaker sucked. bused down to holland v. bought a black & white stripped sweater top. then met sydney, david and cai for dinner. thai express! yummy calamari in sweet & sour sauce and some fried tofu thing. i had "tung hoon" in chicken & egg broth. chilled out at gelare. yummy ice cream ((:

went with my family and church peeps for global prayer day at national stadium. then we had supper at adam's hawker with uncle derek and his family.
yesterday was my LAST day at work. finally, after slogging out for Dyna-Mac for FIVE months,straight. SBM (client) ppl bought me an oreo cheese cake, a pair of cute ear rings and a voice recording device fixed into a 1m long flower soft toy. farewell gifts ((: i made cookies for everyone too :D had dinner at pastamania with lynn, liyi and rachel. sat there from 6 to 8+. great gossip time,haa. headed home,washed up and was outa the house again. bused down with roy and david. zouk was some crazy shit. i swear the crowd could amount to a thousand. it was so chaotic and the largest crowd i've eva seen. it caused a BIG jam on the roads. the queues into zouk and phuture were more than 60m? it was so intimidating, like the crowd at national day parade? met up with reina and the both of us cabbed down to MOS instead. the queue was so long too. definitely with all the zouk rejects. waited for ard 45min b4 we got in. music made it a good good time but other than that, it was worse than sardines plus those pang sai retards around us. the squeezy-est eva. it felt as though the whole singapore was out. rei, u were great. thanks so much (pss, though i really cldn't read ur mind.haa) i noe i was such a bitch while we were hailing for a cab. shopping soon? more dope! walking away.work load has been vavaboom. dying each day stamping thousand over copies, snoozing away. someone help me. i think i'm gonna end work in 1+ week time ((: had enough after 5 months of slogging out for them.
lotsa mishaps and tragedies happened lately. 2 weeks ago, a construction worker from my company was crushed by a 600+kg metal piece and he died in hospital. then my colleague's new born baby died of high fever and he had to rush back immediately to India the next morning. I could see the sad tears in his eyes. The joy of being a father just being crushed like that. Then while crossing the road one day, there was a dead bird lying there. Prolly ran over by a car, literally flattened to death. It's quite freaky.It's as if, you never know when God will take you back one day. Life is unpredictable. Makes me want to treasure my life more but at the same time...life is never smooth sailing. oh wth.
took leave on thursday. dental in the morning. Dr Chong used a thicker wire for my upper teeth. omg, pain. can't really eat super hard food for now. i want my grainy cereal and yummy meat! so it's semi soft food at the moment )): but still, my appetite has been huge, like a a ravenous pig. haha. my braces ain't discouraging me from indulging in all foodies ((: went over to kai yin's place for lunch after dental. chatted abit and looked at magazines & her clothes. went home for a nap then met nich in town for movieee. dinner at vilage'.movie:
priceless. awesome movieee! it's in french with eng subtitles. extreme posh-ness and epitome of sophistication. all the clothes audrey tautou wore, pretty & glamorous! she's so pretty! from chanel to gucci to prada. owns the devil wear's prada hands down. her dressing is sleek chick and simple. audrey tautou is hot stuff. Gad Elmalehit was so retardedly cute-dumb.it's super romantic, unintentional comedy. so, all of ur should go watch it. don't trust all the blockbusters yeah. but pirates of the caribbean, shrek 3, fantastic 4 and harry potter are the next blockbusters i wanna watch. and my purse can happily go ka boom. aww, can't wait for summer. i'll be free of work.
GSS, all-gals-only KL road trip (maybe), church camp and more parties & gatherings & BBQs to come ((: and i miss all my friends.
felt so weird when i saw you.anyway, i got my letter from NUS! finally. after that dreadful wait, when everyone around me has gotten his/her letter. chemical & biomolecular engineering ((: my 1st choice, same as NTU, but now i'm in a dilemma. NTU or NUS? argh. went for NTU chem engin tea party (i don't know why they make it sound so hip) ytd. 11am. the talks by industrial company speakers were boring. sit for 1+hr straight in the LT? -kill me. other than that, it was pretty insightful. my stomach was growling so loudly, haha, everyone was so embarrassed to start on the food. many people left early, no one was really interested in staying. kah leng and i just sat around and ate a lil, not forgetting the choc fondue ((: some seniors came over to talk to us. till now, i'm still confuse. i shall just go for the NUS chem engin welcome session 1st. went home and slacked. lazy saturday night.
maybe going to flea market at zouk later. hopefully i can get some great deals ((: i'm gone.

we fly high.work's hectic, hectic. rushing around office. bad bad, with retarded stares and worth-gorging eye balls. argh. my contract ends soon!
went over to ade's on friday, after work. watched tv till 8-ish. then headed down to KAP Mc's for late dinner. we used ade's mcdonalds points ((: haha, ade & i are so loyal to Mc's that we collected so many points already! shir had McWings and ade & i shared 20 piece nuggets. ade was a turbo tiger, downing SO many nuggets. ade's stomach, cool beans. eh, more tummy tuck or crunches for us. wobbling tummies? haha. it was just like rolling good old times. seemed as though i was living in the past considering that we all haven't had such a great session for so long. was i dreaming? sigh. bought peanut butter&choc oreo and cadburry choc! sinful. my friday night was happy time ((:
met some class peeps ytd. zhisen, ruoning, glenn, gare rern, shawn, lixin and tingyan. we watched
blades of glory starring Will Ferrell and Jon Heder. nachos w` cheese, sweet popcorn, fried crispy chicken and ice lemon tea (yummy) ((: e movie's not released yet, so it was preview show but it's the same as the actual movie anyways. GO WATCH IT! its really hilarious and jolts you outa ur seat. lotsa ball-ranching moves (yes, real sick shit) and NO cold jokes. we were practically laughing throughout the entire movie. just imagine, two male skaters doing the pair item? gay and sick. its not just a lame comedy. argh, i don't mind watching it again. this movie's the underdog. :D all smiles.
then we walked around. after awhile, the rest left so tingyan and i just window shopped. geek, thanks so much for always accompanying me to shop and thanks for the two pairs of ear rings from island shopieee. haha. bought a capped sleeve top from forever21. saw a nice Guess bag and i reserved a top at zara. think i'm gonna get em` today! can't wait for june to come. HARDCORE retail therapy!
anyway, i received my acceptance letter two weeks ago from NTU. got into my 1st choice.
chemical & biomolecular engineering ((: Thank God. But i haven't heard anything from NUS )): and SO many ppl have got theirs alr. it's kinda freaky actually. nvm, God knows. haha.

all good things come to an end.whoo,wad a week. crazy crazy. spideeeeman with ade, ryan, shawn and tian ning last tues LABOUR DAY! it was pretty nice but yawns* at times. maybe we expected too much. the JP cinema was super stuffy and we were like sitting at the 2nd/3rd row. poor us. then at the climax where sand man, spideeee, harry and venom were fighting, the show suddenly stopped and the lights came on. wth. anti-climax please. was so pissed. then they continued the movie, missing out on a few seconds. damn. we had scoops ice cream and waffles ((:

work load has been piling up. i'm going crazy. thursday was official opening ceremony of the new main office, 2 storey building. sumptous buffet lunch i would say. yumm yumm. i initially planned to cut down on my food intake, but my appetite seems to be like that of a pregnant woman's. i'm depressed. argh.

i skipped church on sunday.same story. piggo and slack the whole morning and afternoon. ice cream, instant noodles, cereal, bread, chocs...the list goes on. wonder what waist size pants will i be wearing at the end of may. met up with the gals to celebrate grace's b'day -belated. cor, cheryl and me. gwen and tiff couldn't make it )): settled for wheelock's nydc. we had three amigos and mushroom ham pasta! awww, yummy ((: stupid nydc didn't allow us to cut the b'day cake which i baked for grace; cauz it's outside food.hmph. ah ha, the cake was cute. i hope ur liked it, especially YOU grace. too bad all my camera's pics got erased somehow while i was uploading em )): sadness is a tragedy. arghs. anyway, while crossing the road to get to my bus stop, omg, i fell flat on the road. it was so traumatising that remained silent even after i got up. cor screamed damn loud and everyone at the bus stop were staring at me. bet the drivers and motorcyclist were super freaked out too. so blessed that i was wearing jeans and it was night time. if not i would have been bleeding really badly and died of embarrassment. has a small bloody wound tho. thank God the camera only had a lil scratch. cor said my position on the road looked as though i met with a car accident. haha. thank God.
what's happening to this house? all the ongoing upheaval. quarrels after quarrels everyday. no peace. she's back but adds fuel to fire. she even threatened to hit me just now and told me to shut up. what's wrong seriously. and the little one doesn't even want my help as much as i want her to excel in her studies. i feel so disheartened. am i the only sane one under this roof? or maybe i'm just the mad one.
i really wish i was gone.
